What You’ll Do
As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a vital role in our hospital operations by:
- Conducting exams, collecting samples, and assisting in diagnostics
- Supporting surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia
- Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Providing nursing care and monitoring hospitalized patients
- Maintaining accurate medical records and communicating with pet owners
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients
Emergency & Specialty Care (If Assigned)
- Assist in emergency procedures and critical care situations
- Monitor vitals, place catheters, take x-rays, and administer injections
- Provide wound care and support ICU patients
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Required: 1+ year of veterinary experience and RVT certification
- Preferred: 2+ years in surgery, appointments, or critical care
- Experience in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, and Fear Free restraint
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active role
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
